Popular rental skis for families in Ötz
A family ski day doesn't mean everyone needs the same kind of ski. While children mainly need models that are easy to control, teenagers often prefer a sportier feel. Adults can choose between comfortable, versatile and sporty models depending on their skiing style.
Our Ski Finder takes into account each family member's ability, body measurements and skiing style and shows you the suitable available models. So everyone gets the ski that fits their own day on the slopes.
Hochoetz – made for families
The Hochoetz ski area offers more than 41 kilometres of pistes and is particularly family-friendly. Short distances, family-friendly pistes and special activities for children make the area ideal for skiing together.
There are dedicated practice areas and child-friendly lifts for those first turns. More confident young skiers will find plenty of varied pistes to explore the ski area together with parents and siblings.
WIDI turns a ski day into a family experience
In Hochoetz, WIDI is simply part of the experience. Centred around the mountain sheep mascot, there are plenty of winter adventures especially for children – from WIDI's Kids Land and magic carpets to the ski adventure trail and WIDI's Funpark.
The WIDIVERSUM Hochoetz also adds even more variety to a family ski day. For the little ones, it's not about collecting as many piste kilometres as possible – it's about discovering the fun of snow and skiing.
The ideal rental equipment for young and grown-up skiers
Hochoetz offers ideal conditions for skiing together – from a child's very first day on skis to the sportier members of the family. That's exactly why the equipment should be selected individually.
