The ski schools in St. Anton are the cradle of ski sports. This is where skiing started! Hannes Schneider founded the first ski school in 1921 in St. Anton am Arlberg. He and other arlberg instructors then set out to teach others how to ski all over the world. They were charasmatic ski pioneers armed with only 2 planks of wood and a good attitude. And so they gave this enthusiasm for skiing to others. This "enthusiasm" is still alive today at the ski schools in St. Anton! Why not hire an instructor, it makes skiing more fun!
